Welcome to Classonix. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Classonix website, web application, software, features, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Classonix ("Classonix," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, starting a free trial, using the Service, or subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. About Classonix

Classonix is a cloud-based school and educational institution management platform designed to help institutions manage administrative and operational activities, including student records, attendance, fees, receipts, staff management, finance, inventory, payroll, and related workflows.

Classonix provides software tools to assist institutions with their administrative processes. Classonix does not make academic, financial, employment, disciplinary, or other decisions on behalf of your institution.

2. Eligibility

You may use Classonix only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

If you create or manage an account on behalf of a school, academy, company, or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.

The features, limits, prices, billing periods, and other conditions associated with each plan may be displayed on the Classonix website or within the application.

We may change subscription features or pricing from time to time. Where required, we will provide reasonable notice before material changes to an existing paid subscription take effect.

Your continued use of a paid Service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing or terms, subject to applicable law.

8. Free Plan

Classonix may provide a free plan with limited features, usage limits, student limits, messaging allowances, or other restrictions.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free plan at any time, subject to applicable law.

The free plan is provided without a guarantee that it will remain available indefinitely.

9. Fees and Payment

Paid subscriptions must be paid according to the pricing and billing terms presented at the time of purchase.

You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize the applicable payment provider to process charges associated with your subscription.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Subscription fees are payable in advance.
  • Taxes, duties, or other applicable governmental charges may be added where required.
  • Your subscription may be suspended if payment is unsuccessful or overdue.
  • Classonix is not responsible for additional fees charged by banks, payment processors, telecommunications providers, or third-party services.

10. Messaging Services

Classonix may provide integrations or features for sending notifications through services such as WhatsApp, SMS, email, or other communication channels.

  • Changes imposed by the relevant messaging provider.

Classonix does not guarantee delivery of every message.

Where messaging charges apply, you are responsible for applicable usage charges associated with your account.

You are also responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary permissions or lawful basis to send messages to recipients.

11. Third-Party Services

Classonix may integrate with third-party services, including payment providers, messaging providers, hosting providers, analytics services, authentication providers, or other external platforms.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.

Classonix is not responsible for the availability, security, functionality, policies, or actions of third-party services that are outside our control.

Changes or interruptions to third-party services may affect related Classonix functionality.

12. Data Accuracy and Backups

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of information entered into your account.

While Classonix may implement reasonable measures to protect and maintain Customer Data, you should maintain appropriate independent records or backups of critical information where necessary.

Classonix does not guarantee that data will never be lost, corrupted, altered, or temporarily unavailable.

13. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable and secure Service, but we do not guarantee that Classonix will always be:

  • Available without interruption.
  • Free from errors or defects.
  • Available at all times.
  • Compatible with every device, browser, operating system, or third-party service.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, security measures, technical issues, infrastructure failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

14. Intellectual Property

The Classonix software, website, interface, design, branding, logos, trademarks, documentation, code, features, and other materials provided by Classonix are owned by or licensed to Classonix and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Classonix intellectual property to you.

You retain ownership of your Customer Data.

15. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, feature requests, recommendations, or other feedback regarding Classonix, you agree that we may use that feedback to improve or develop the Service without compensation or obligation to you, provided that such use does not disclose your confidential information.

Where reasonably possible, we may provide notice before suspension or termination.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will end.

17. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription according to the cancellation options provided through your account or by contacting Classonix support.

Cancellation may prevent future subscription charges but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for amounts already paid, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in the applicable plan or refund policy.

18. Data After Termination

Following termination or cancellation, access to Customer Data may become unavailable after the applicable retention period.

You are responsible for exporting or downloading your data before terminating your account if you wish to retain a copy.

Classonix may retain certain information where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, accounting, or other legitimate business purposes.

You should notify Classonix promptly if you discover suspected unauthorized access or a security vulnerability affecting your account.

21. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Classonix is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We make no warranties that the Service will meet every specific requirement of your institution or operate without interruption, errors, or defects.

Classonix does not provide legal, accounting, tax, financial, educational, employment, or other professional advice through the Service.

You remain responsible for decisions made using information generated or stored through Classonix.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Classonix and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.

This may include loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data.

To the extent permitted by law, Classonix's total liability arising from your use of the Service will be limited to the amount you paid to Classonix for the Service during the applicable period preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, by email, or by posting an updated version on the Classonix website.

The updated Terms will become effective on the date stated at the beginning of the revised Terms.

Your continued use of Classonix after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

25. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in Pakistan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan, subject to applicable law.

Classonix will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, war, civil unrest, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, cyberattacks, infrastructure failures, labor disputes, or failures of third-party providers.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
